Joseph Barkate, age 46, is a co-founder of ASR located in Southlake, TX. In addition to being CEO, Joe serves as Director of International Sales and Institutional Marketing.

Prior to ASR, Joe practiced law both in solo practice and with a small Dallas law firm mainly focusing on Estate Planning, Asset Protection, and Low Risk Investing. He also served as a negotiator for the Allied Pilots Association and a pilot for American Airlines.

Qualification:
Joe received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in 1983. He was then commissioned and served as an A-10A Thunderbolt II fighter pilot stationed in the United Kingdom and West Germany. Joe received his Masters of Science in Business Administration from Boston University in 1987 and his JD from the University of Texas School of Law in 1997.
